Should I worry about Cholesterol?
I have results of blood tests that said my cholesterol is 205 normal range is 80-199. And my LDL is 133 and normal is 30-130.'m young at 24 with no history of heart disease, and I'm not in the slightest excess weight! (A 118 lbs.) I try to eat healthy (ok I'm not perfect) but I do eat better than most. I do not eat fast food very often, and try to eat as healthy as possible. How I can have a high number?? I exercise sometimes. I admit I took a leap of three months, but I've been running or walking again last week. Well my level cholesterol is 60 normal range is 40-110. I have nothing to worry about? Should make some adjustments in diet and exercise to help some more? I can not imagine how everyone elses numbers might be, it definitely does not eat a lot of people who eat fast food every day!
Their levels cholesterol are fine. High cholesterol is not a disease. High cholesterol does not cause disease. You are absolutely normal (other than being brainwashed by the that perpetuate the myth of cholesterol). Cholesterol-lowering statins. For no good reason. Doctors and drug makers want to compete statins "to reduce the risk of CHD "There is no cure. There is no prevention. Ask your doctor about risk reduction from what to what. Statins are expensive and have effects unpleasant side as loss of memory (that pharmaceutical companies will not tell you about). Ironically, the concern may cause disease the heart (increases cortisol). So stop worrying about cholesterol.
